Emilie’s Triple-Chocolate Fudge Cake

1 small package chocolate pudding mix (NOT instant)      1 box dry chocolate cake mix

2 cups milk                                                                                          ½ cup semisweet chocolate pieces

½ cup chopped nuts                                                                       whipped cream (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 o. Cook pudding according to package directions. Blend dry cake mix into hot pudding. (Mixture will be thick). Pour into a prepared 13x9x2 pan (Spray with Pam, and sugar) Sprinkle with chocolate pieces and nuts. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool 5 minutes. Cut into 2 inch squares. Serve plain or topped with whipped cream.
